How to Stick Magnetic Signs to Aluminium Cars and Trucks January 26 2016, 3 Comments
Lots of cars are made out of Aluminium these days. It's a fantastic material as it's light weight for it's strength making it popular amongst high end manufacturers such as Audi and BMW. However, if you need to stick a temporary magnetic sign to your car/truck, for example as a taxi/cab might or in a sales showroom you will not be able to if the car body panels are made of Aluminium.
We have the solution: Gecko Grippers. Our wonderfully versatile product can stick to virtually anything smooth, clean and dry and they never run out of stickiness. After each use, just give them a quick wash under water and allow them to air dry.
Simply put a few Gecko Grippers on the back of the non-permanent magnetic sign and then press firmly onto the vehicle body panel. They can be cut to any shape using a pair of scissors if necessary. When you want to remove the sign simply peel it away from the car slowly. The Gecko Grippers will leave no marks and cause no damage whatsoever and can be stored in their packaging after a quick clean so they're ready for the next use.
Gecko Grippers are incredibly strong and have been tested in freezing conditions and up to 70 MPH with outstanding results.
It is important to note that we cannot be held liable for any loss or damage as a result of using Gecko Grippers. It is the responsibility of the user to ensure the sign is adequately secured before making a journey.
